Is it hot in here? Or is it just our chili-laden gnocchi?

Ingredients

  • 15 ounces spicy Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 16 ounces potato gnocchi
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic
  • 13 ounces marinara
  • 5 ounces spinach, fresh
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste

Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chili Crisp Oil, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Cooking Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Chili Sauce
  • Salt and Lee Kum Kee Coarse Ground Black Pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Heat Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chili Crisp Oil on medium heat in a large, high-sided skillet.
  2. Add sausage and cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes, crumbling it.
  3. To the same skillet with sausage, add uncooked potato gnocchi, chicken broth, heavy cream, Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic, Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Cooking Soy Sauce, and Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Chili Sauce. Bring to a boil on medium heat and stir everything well. Cover with lid, and allow the gnocchi to cook for about 5 minutes on medium heat, while the sauce boils.
  4. Add the marinara and stir it well. Add fresh spinach, and cook on medium heat, stirring frequently for 5 minutes until the spinach wilts. Cook longer if you would like a thicker sauce.
  5. Mix everything well. Remove from heat. Season with salt, Lee Kum Kee Coarse Ground Black Pepper, and red pepper flakes. Drizzle with more Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chili Crisp Oil. Enjoy!
