Pork Banh Mi Burger

No cap — pour on the hoisin and sriracha for the perfect banh mi burger.

Ingredients

For burger patty

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Cooking Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Chili Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Lee Kum Kee Coarse Ground Black Pepper

For assembling

  • 4 brioche buns, toasted
  • Cucumbers, to taste
  • Fresh jalapeños, sliced, to taste
  • Cilantro, to taste
  • Pickled veggies, to taste

Seasoning

  • Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Mayo Dressing/Spread, to taste

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl mix all ingredients for pork patties together until fully combined. Portion into 4 equal patties, about ⅓-inch thick. 
  2. Preheat the grill to medium. Add pork patties to the grill and allow to cook without moving for 5 to 7 minutes. Flip the patties and repeat with the other side for additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  3. To assemble the burgers: Add some Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Mayo Dressing/Spread to both sides of the toasted buns and top with the pork patty, cucumbers, jalapeños, cilantro and plenty of pickled vegetables. Serve immediately and Enjoy!
