Lee Kum Kee Satisfies Burger Cravings with Hot, Limited-Time Deal in LA
If you were hungry in LA and in search of something tasty in the past several weeks, you might have had a chance to treat yourself to Lee Kum Kee’s limited-time burger at the beloved Irv’s Burgers, the historic roadside burger institution on Route 66 in Malibu. To connect with targeted consumers and fans throughout Greater Los Angeles and help keep the brand top of mind in conjunction with the National Hamburger Day holiday on May 28, the Lee Kum Kee brand partnered with Los Angeles native and founder of Hungry in L.A., Eddie Sanchez. to create a limited-time burger featuring Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Mayo and available exclusively at Irv’s Burgers locations in La Brea, Malibu and West Hollywood. A foodie himself, Sanchez dreamed up the special creation called “Hungry in LA’s Just for You Burger,” which featured Irv’s Signature beef patty, pastrami, melted Swiss cheese, a toasted bun, and a special slaw made with Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Mayo, served with an extra side of Sriracha Mayo. Guests could taste the limited-time offering for one week only, from Saturday, May 25, through Friday, May 31. On top of the delicious, mouth-watering ingredients, Lee Kum Kee, Eddie Sanchez and Irv’s Burger together donated $10 for every burger purchased to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
The offering was posted on Sanchez and Irv’s Burgers’ Instagrams and covered extensively by the local media, including the outlets below:
